Jaguar Jungle
Welcome to Jaguar Jungle, the first of Urban Realms’ Literary Labyrinths (games based on a novel or series). This adventure takes place at the end of the novel, Lady Blade. It is a two-person, 5th Edition module that continues the story of Francesca DiCesare and her pirate captain, Will Massey. It’s not necessary to read the book ahead of time, but it will add depth to their story and their love affair.
The idea is that both players are PCs and one of the players also DMs. We’ve divided the adventure into scenarios. Players are encouraged to switch DM duties each scenario and to not read ahead to avoid spoilers. That way, the mystery lasts until the end. This is a fully fleshed-out module, complete with character sheets, maps, tokens and more.
While this isn’t a romance module like our Date Night Dungeons, our two PCs are in love. Since Francesca and Will make a great team, we’ve added synergy aspects to the game to encourage partnership and connection. And, the Aztec goddess of love, Xochiquetzal may smile on our heroes, dice willing.
