Lately, whether you’re buying or selling it’s impossible to tell if and when items will get where they are supposed to go. Many countries utilize Amazon’s Print-on-Demand services, taking some of the stress out of your buying experience.

What is Print-on-Demand?

Print-on-demand (POD) is a type of printing that allows products to be printed locally, right when they’re ordered, saving you both time and money. This can save you money on shipping costs, reduce the carbon footprint with a shorter shipping distance, and get your order to you quicker. Here’s how:

 

Reduced Costs:

Print-on-demand can save you money in a few different ways. Once you place your order the product is automatically scheduled to print, meaning you don’t have to wait for one of us to receive the notification, rifle through our inventory for the correct product, and start the packing process. While we pack and ship orders the second we see them, even we can’t move quicker than robots!

Since it’s being printed at a producer near you, you will only have to pay local shipping costs, rather than having to worry about the higher worldwide shipping fees.

Flexibility and Convenience:

With POD, as we mentioned earlier, the order is automatically processed the second you hit “buy now”, so if you’re ordering from Sweden (we see you Sweden!) you don’t have to wait for your module or journal to get sent from our humble shop to you. Your order could very well be printed in your home town!

Reduced Carbon Footprint:

If you care about your carbon footprint but still want to get your RPG fix rest assured that Print-On-Demand is a more sustainable way to get your products! Another benefit to printing and shipping locally is your item doesn’t have to travel as far to get to you. Which to a potentially HUGE decrease in fossil fuels. (Unless you live in our town, in which case giving us a call would probably be more sustainable!)
